Schools have ‘scattered’ over fear that suspected terrorists were in some schools.
The news subsequently spread like wild fire as other schools including Ladoke Akintola University of Technology LAUTECH also erupted in pandemonium.
“It was serious, students and pupils (from primary schools) were just jumping over the windows running helter-skelter lamenting that bandits are around. Many parents compounded the problem as they started hurrying to their children’s schools to evacuate them,” a resident Solomon Adefila told ogbomosoinsightonline.com.

Also, report came from Ajaawa, headquarters of Ogo-Oluwa local government, that the bandits have started killing people there. But a call put across to the Alajaawa of Ajaawa HRM Oba Thompson Adeyeye Oyetunji, proved it is “false alarm.”
“I am in a meeting in Ogbomoso but the moment people started calling me l contacted the Ajaawa DPO and he said they had gone round and that there was nothing like that,” Alajaawa said.
There is still tension in the town arising from the bandits’ attack at three schools in Oriire local governmentent last Friday.
