The Soun of Ogbomosoland Oba Ghandi Afolabi Olaoye Orumogege III has reiterated that he is committed to making life better for the people in his domain.
Oba Olaoye made this declaration Thursday while commissioning four new boreholes in Ogo-Oluwa local government area of Ogbomoso Oyo state.

The communities where the projects were commissioned are Lagbedu, Pontela, Otamokun, and Opete.
“Access to clean, safe water is one of life’s most fundamental necessities. I am delighted that these communities can now enjoy this essential resource, which will improve public health, ease daily living, and contribute to their overall well-being.

While expressing gratitude to the donor, Mr. Fola Adeola, the Soun said, “On behalf of the good people of Ogbomosoland, I extend my heartfelt appreciation to Mr. Fola Adeola for making these life-changing projects possible.

The monarch consequently encouraged other well-meaning individuals to be partners in the vision to make Ogbomosoland greater.

Some dignitaries at the programme were Oba Thompson Adeyeye Oyetunji, the Alaajawa of Ajaawa and Chairman of the Ogo-Oluwa Local Government Traditional Council; members of the Soun-in-Council, and other traditional rulers in the local government.
Oba Olaoye has identified provision of water as critical to improving the life of the people in Ogbomosoland and through advocacy has been facilitating provision of boreholes in communities in the zone.
