Oyo 2027: Need for consensus guber candidate in Ogbomoso

The 2027 general elections is fast approaching and towns and politicians have been strategizing for votes and posts. The need for Ogbomoso as a town to come together as one to put up a consensus candidate for the gubernatorial race is paramount. Ogbomoso produced a governor before in person of late Otunba Alao Akala and the dividends it brought to the town are too numerous to mention here. This is enough reason Ogbomoso indigenes must bury their differences and mend their political divides and come together to back a saleable candidate for the Oyo state governorship post. It is high time we returned to first place as we have what it takes to occupy the position, human resources and population-wise.

I want those who control the affairs of Ogbomoso politics to give this my humble submission great consideration and work towards its realisation. For Ogbomoso is our Jerusalem and Mecca and its agenda of prosperity and blissfulness must be our ultimate concern. Ire Ogbomoso! Arise Ogbomoso!
