Bunvic lauds Buhari over meeting with President Tinubu

Hon. Segun Odebunmi, candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Surulere/Ogo-Oluwa federal constituency in the forthcoming general elections has hailed Senator Fatai Buhari for what he described as his selfless presentation during a recent meeting with President Bola Tinubu at Aso Rock Villa, Abuja.

Last weekend, the senator representing Oyo North senatorial district was reportedly invited by President Tinubu to charge him with the task of mobilizing support for him and other APC’s candidates in Oyo state and Oyo North in particular. Buhari, a three-term senator, is believed to be a big politician in the district.

Odebunmi, fondly called Bunvic, in a press release, titled, “Sen. Buhari’s outing: A true representation of people’s interest,” he personally signed, and written on behalf of the people of his constituency and Ogbomosoland in general, described the meeting as vintage Buhari, noting he successfully pledged the loyalty of the people of his constituency and made key requests on behalf of his people.

“On behalf of myself, the good people of Surulere/Ogo-Oluwa Federal Constituency, and Ogbomoso, I wish to commend our Distinguished Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Senator Abdulfatai Buhari, for his outstanding outing while meeting President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR,” Bunvic said, adding, “You did not only pledge unwavering support for Mr. President and our great party, the All Progressives Congress (APC), you seized the biggest opportunity not for personal gain, but to articulate genuine requests for the benefit of the general public.”

The former House of Representatives’ member, who represented the constituency three times in the past insisted Buhari performed creditably well by asking the President the desire of the people and succeeding in renewing hope.

“These are requests that will encourage the people to continue to believe in renewed hope agenda, also vote for and stand with our party. We are delighted that all the requests were graciously granted by Mr. President.

“Honestly, you have done very well. You have once again proven to be a true representative of the people, no wonder Oyo North Senatorial district trusted you. We are proud of you, sir.”
