Beneficiaries hail Onpetu, partners as medical outreach commemorating 25th anniversary ends

Participants and beneficiaries of the 2024 medical outreach annually organized by the Onpetu of Ijeru, Oba Sunday Oladapo Oyediran Lagbami Osekun III in conjunction with the C.H.E.C.K Medical Missions Inc., have heaped commendations on the monarch describing his gesture as “quite awesome.”
This year’s edition which ran from Thursday October 31 to Saturday December 2, was a special one as it was staged to commemorate the 25th ascension anniversary of Oba Onpetu Oyediran.
ogbomosoinsightonline.com witnessed the activities on the closing day of the event at the Onpetu Palace at Ijeru and at the Adebayo Amao Alata Health Centre at Ahoyaya where surgeries were performed on patients and was told by a medical participant, Bashiru Olalekan, that the “outreach covered eye and dental care, with glasses given to those who need it, surgeries, consultations and we run tests for them as well.”
“Also, the pharmaceutical department supplied prescribed drugs for them. It has been quite awesome. We attended to a very good number of patients, over 200 have attended as we are speaking.”
It was observed there were also physiotherapy services.
Similarly, Adegoke Tosin, another medical volunteer, said tests such as HIV, syphilis and so on were conducted for the beneficiaries just as Soladoye Esther, who is a medical laboratory scientist, hailed the initiative for its “standard procedures.”

Several beneficiaries who spoke with Ogbomoso Insight described the Onpetu and the medical team as individuals imbued with kindness.
Most Senior Apostle Prophet Gabriel Opatola of C & S Movement Church Ayo Ni O, Mrs. Elizabeth Alade, Simeon Ayomide Adebayo and Prince Adedeji John among others praised the doctors for “their professional conduct. We thank them and we thank Kabiyesi Onpetu.”
