Genesis Medical Diagnostics Centre, Ogbomoso, has congratulated Miss Favour Omoteye, a lab scientist at the centre, on her successful graduation from Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, LAUTECH, Ogbomoso, and her formal induction into the noble profession of Medical Laboratory Science.
Her achievement is described as a “proud and remarkable milestone,” not only for Miss Favour personally, but also “for the institution, where she has served with commitment, humility, discipline, and dedication over the years.”
It is stated, “Miss Favour Omoteye has been a committed staff member of Genesis Medical Diagnostics Centre, contributing consistently to the centre’s daily operations, patient-centred services, and culture of professionalism. According to him, Miss Favour’s achievement is a source of joy to the entire Genesis Medical Diagnostics Centre family and a strong reminder that every serious organisation must invest in the growth of its people.
“On behalf of the management and staff of Genesis Medical Diagnostics Centre, I heartily congratulate Miss Favour Omoteye on her graduation from LAUTECH and her induction as a Medical Laboratory Scientist. This is a great milestone, and we are proud of her journey, her discipline, and her commitment over the years. The CEO noted that Medical Laboratory Science remains one of the most important pillars of modern healthcare, stressing that quality diagnosis is central to effective treatment, disease monitoring, preventive medicine, reproductive health, public health surveillance, and community wellbeing.
He assured that Genesis Medical Diagnostics Centre would continue to support staff training, mentorship, professional development, and upskilling as part of its strategic goal to improve service delivery.
“At Genesis Medical Diagnostics Centre, we believe that professional development is not a luxury; it is a necessity. Healthcare is changing every day. New technologies, new diagnostic methods, new quality standards, and new patient expectations are emerging. Any diagnostic centre that refuses to develop its workforce is only preparing itself for irrelevance, and frankly, healthcare has suffered enough from that kind of laziness.”
Prince Olawuyi further explained that one of the key goals of Genesis Medical Diagnostics Centre is to build a “workforce that is competent, ethical, compassionate, technically sound, and quality-driven.”

He stressed that staff upskilling directly improves patient care because better-trained professionals make better decisions, follow better procedures, reduce errors, and deliver more reliable results.
“We encourage our staff to pursue further education, professional certification, practical competence, leadership training, and continuous learning. The reason is simple: when our staff become better, our services become better. When our services become better, our clients, patients, doctors, partners, and the entire community benefit. This is how a healthcare organisation should grow, not by slogans alone, but by building people,” he maintained, while encouraging “young people, students, interns, and early-career health workers to remain focused and committed to their professional dreams.”
He noted that success in healthcare requires “discipline, patience, sacrifice, integrity, and lifelong learning, adding, “Academic qualification is important, professional attitude, ethical conduct, and commitment to quality are what make a healthcare worker truly valuable. To other young people watching Miss Favour today, let this be a message: your journey may be demanding, but it is possible. Do not despise small beginnings. Do not run away from training. Do not be afraid of hard work. Every professional you admire today once passed through learning, correction, sacrifice, and discipline. The future belongs to those who keep improving themselves.”
It was submitted also, “Omoteye’s induction into the Medical Laboratory Science profession is particularly significant because the profession plays a quiet but powerful role in healthcare delivery. Behind many clinical decisions are laboratory results produced through scientific knowledge, technical skill, accuracy, and quality assurance.”
“Medical Laboratory Scientists are essential in haematology, clinical chemistry, microbiology, histopathology, immunology, molecular diagnostics, blood transfusion science, reproductive health diagnostics, infectious disease testing, and public health response. In plain language, doctors may wear the stethoscope, but the laboratory often tells the truth the body is trying to hide. Humanity built hospitals and then remembered evidence is useful. Progress, apparently.”
“So, her achievement is both a personal victory and an institutional success story. Her journey shows the centre’s commitment to creating an environment where young professionals can learn, grow, serve, and rise.”
The management maintained that Genesis Medical Diagnostics Centre will continue to promote staff development through mentorship, exposure to quality laboratory practice, continuous professional education, training opportunities, internal supervision, and a culture of excellence.

At Genesis Medical Diagnostics Centre, we will continue to encourage every staff member to develop professionally because our commitment to excellence begins with the people who serve.”
