‘Rain of mercy will fall,’ Evangelist Daniel Du Toit declares as he arrives Ogbomoso

Evangelist Daniel Du Toit scheduled to begin a 5-day power crusade in Ogbomoso Oyo state starting tomorrow Wednesday April 8, has declared that Ogbomoso during the period would experience “Rain of mercy.”

Evangelist Du Toit, a South African, made the declaration while addressing leaders of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) and workers in the crusade at the crusade ground, Ogbomoso Grammar School, after he arrived in Ogbomoso Tuesday.

The founder of “Take the Nation” Ministry patterned after late Reinhard Bonnke’s Christ for All Nations Ministry expressed gratitude for the invitation to come to Ogbomoso and for the cooperation he says he has been receiving towards making the crusade a successful one.

He prophesied Ogbomoso would not remain the same while urging those who came to receive him to make endeavours to bring others to the crusade in large numbers.

“Thank you for working with us, thank you for your forbearance, perseverance and cooperation,” Du Toit stated. “For the five days of the crusade the rain of God will fall on Ogbomoso. There will be rain of mercy, there will be rain of miracles on Ogbomoso, Ogbomoso won’t remain the same. Sicknesses and all that will depart Ogbomoso. That is why we are here – to preach Jesus Christ, the name above all names.

“At the mention of His name the crippled will walk, the blind will see, the lame will walk, the possessed will be delivered, the host of heaven will be in Ogbomoso. As from tomorrow’s evening Ogbomoso will experience the presence of the living God.”

The crusade is expected to draw a large crowd of people.

The evangelist came to Ogbomoso via the Tunde Idiagbon Airport Ilorin along with his wife and two children.

The crusade will start 3:30pm everyday.

Interestingly, shortly after “the rain of mercy” declaration, most part of Ogbomoso metropolis which had been experiencing lack of rain and dryness, was engulfed in torrential rain at least physically.
