BRAVO: Brave FM awards Ogo-Oluwa council boss Best Chairman gong at 3rd anniversary

The chairman of Ogo-Oluwa local government Hon Seun Ojo has been awarded the Best Chairman Award.

 

This formed the highlight of the third anniversary of Brave 91.1 FM, Ogbomoso, which held Friday.

 

Six other persons were also conferred with prestigious awards including Revd Niyi Adebayo (founder and lead pastor of True Worshippers Church); chairman of Park Management Service (PMS) in Ogbomoso zone, Comrade Jimoh Aderemi; Prophetess Funmilayo Akinloye (Ayelowa); Dr. Sarafadeen Gbadebo Raji of Al-Medinah Islamic Centre; Alhaji Rasaq Tunde Omilani of Tundex Mega; and CEO of Owonikoko Plastic Store.

According to a report by PanNigeria News, the general manager of Brave FM, Sanjo Saka, Hon. Ojo was conferred with the Best Chairman Award in recognition of his usual swift response to community needs and service to Ogo-Oluwa local government area.

 

Fẹlẹfẹlẹ, as the GM is fondly called, stated further that presentation of the awards was instituted as part of the programme to mark the milestone saying the awardees were carefully selected based on their contributions to the community and support for the Igbo-Ile, along Iresapa road, based station.

Tundex Mega bagged the Award of Customer of the Year in recognition of his unbroken patronage of the station while Owonikoko Plastic Store was honoured as a Brand Supporter in recognition of his show of love and support to the station.

 

The management honoured Comrade Aderemi with Responsive Trade Service Award in recognition of his prompt response to community service and media.

 

Saka, a registered member of the Advertising Regulatory Council of Nigeria (ARCON), expressed gratitude to the chairperson of the station, Yeyeluwa Oluwatoyin Odebunmi, management, staff, fans and the teeming supporters of the station for their “unalloyed support.”

“Our distinguished chairperson, Yeyeluwa Oluwatoyin Odebunmi, has been very instrumental to the widespread breakthroughs that are daily recorded in our excellent broadcasting. We are indeed grateful to her for her excellent leadership ab-initio. I also thank the management members, staff, fans and supporters of the station throughout the world,” the general manager said.

 

He promised that the station would continue to “serve the people, with strong adherence to global best practices, without trivialising the coverage of grassroots and the under-reported segment of the society.”
