Soun’s investment drive yields positive result as Prestige Paints opens depot in Ogbomoso

Ogbomoso has gained another business investment in its territory following the inauguration of a depot of Prestige Paints Nig. Ltd, Lagos, at Oke-Ado Sabo.
Prestige Paints Nigeria Limited is one of Nigeria’s undisputed leader in Nigeria’s paint industry, producing varieties of paint products.

ogbomosoinsightonline.com reports that the Soun of Ogbomosoland His Imperial Majesty Oba Ghandi Afolabi Olaoye Orumogege III has been ramping up efforts to rebuild the city into a haven of business investments. Towards this the monarch has launched a 25 year – development plan which contains copious strategies on industrial development and investment rejuvenation. In addition, the Oba has intensified efforts speaking with investors, indigenous and foreign, on bringing investments to his domain.
These have been yielding positive results no doubt with the latest being the opening of the Prestige Paints depot. Ogbomoso Insight gathered authoritatively that the Soun was one of those who convinced Prestige Paints Nig Ltd CEO Prince (Dr) Olabayo Olaonipekun Oyadiran, to consider Ogbomoso for the depot, which is believed to be the biggest paint depot in the community.
“Dr Oyadiran is an in vestor who has not forgotten his roots,” a source told Ogbomoso Insight. “Prestige Paints products and personnel were used during the refurbishment of the Palace last year.”
Speaking at the event, Dr. Oyadiran, who is also the founder of Treasure Palace Hotel at Temidire, Ogbomoso, informed the newly inaugurated depot signals a major investment in the company’s logistics and retail expansion.
He added, “This is a milestone in the company’s efforts to bring quality products closer to customers while contributing to local economic development.
“This depot is not only a strategic business move, but also a testament to our commitment to empowering local communities, creating jobs, and supporting national industrial growth.”

This is as he reiterated the company’s plans to continue stamping its footprint across the country and beyond.
“This Ogbomoso depot is expected to serve as a hub for distribution to neighbouring towns and rural areas, improve access to the brand’s wide range of paint products.”
Oyadiran, who expressed confidence in the 25-Year Development Plan of the monarch, called on other investors to come and contribute meaningfully to the development of the communities.
