The chairman, Nigerian Revenue Service (NRS), Dr Zacch Adelabu Adedeji, has been applauded for taking charge of the construction of the access road to the Federal Polytechnic, Ayede, Ogo-Oluwa local government area of Oyo state.

The polytechnic in Ogbomoso zone, founded in 2021 and which took off at a temporary site (Iresaapa in Surulere local government) has had its permanent site ready for sometime to host departments and the administrative building, but the management consistently raised the issue of access road as a major inhibition to occupying it. About five roads link the community to the outside world : via Idi-Araba, Odo-Oba, Oolo, Ajaawa and Opete. However all are not motorable, prompting unmitigated clamour for intervention.

The Soun of Ogbomosoland His Imperial Majesty Oba Ghandi Afolabi Olaoye Orumogege III visited the site in 2025 and promised to liaise with relevant authorities and individuals to get it executed.

One of the access roads is now under construction, that is the Idi-Araba to Ayede, a dual carriageway, with the NRS boss, an indigene of the council area, credited with its execution.
