Ogbomoso Progressive Association supports Cradles Carnival with cash donation

Ogbomoso Progressives Association (Home and Abroad) has eulogized the Soun of Ogbomosoland His Imperial Majesty Oba Ghandi Afolabi Olaoye Orumogege III for his Ogbomoso Cradles Carnival initiative, submitting it holds a major key in transforming the dream of a greater Ogbomoso into reality. In demonstration of its support for the carnival, whose second edition began today December 18, the club donated an undisclosed amount of money, expressing confidence the carnival has come to stay and will record another huge success.

Pressed to comment on the carnival Chief Abdul Majeed Oladimeji Solademi, chairman of the Board of the association had in a chat with ogbomosoinsightonline.com, disclosed, “Ogbomoso Progressives Association Home and Abroad whose president is Taiwo Oyedotun Ibrahim is fully in support of the Ogbomoso Cradles Carnival. The carnival holds a major key to transforming into a greater city. The dream of a greater Ogbomoso is realisable under the roadmap of the Cradles Carnival.

“We commend Kabiyesi the Soun of Ogbomoso Oba Ghandi Afolabi Olaoye for his ingenuity in founding this festival of unity, prosperity and progress. The carnival has come to stay and will get stronger. It is an amazing legacy birthed in our generation.”

Solademi, who is also chairman of Yajifarz Foundation and proprietor of Air Warriors Basketball Club, Abuja, consequently charged all Ogbomosos to back the initiative and other developmental agenda of Oba Olaoye.

“To develop Ogbomoso requires our collective efforts. We have a progressive Oba whose programmes resonate with our objectives, it behoves us all to support the vision of transforming Ogbomosoland. That is why we donated our widow’s mite to support the carnival,” Solademi added.
