The Soun of Ogbomosoland His Imperial Majesty Oba Ghandi Afolabi Olaoye, Orumogege 111, has charged the Muslim ummah to imbibe the spirit of love, peace and faith as the 2025 Ramadan begins Saturday.
In a Ramadan message signed bu his Coordinating Assistant on Media and Community Relations, Rev’d Peter Olaleye, titled,”Kabiyesi greets all Muslim brothers and sisters in this season of Ramadan,” the Oba noted that “Ramadan is a time to cleanse the soul, renew intentions, and strengthen faith. Ramadan is not just about fasting; it’s about feeding your soul with faith, your heart with love, and your mind with peace.”

Oba Olaoye further said, “May this Ramadan be a reminder that every moment is a blessing, and every prayer is a step closer to Allah. Let Ramadan be a journey of self-discovery, spiritual growth, and unwavering faith.” praying that “as the moon of Ramadan rises, may it bring with it the light of hope, the warmth of love, and the joy of faith. May your fasts be easy, your prayers be sincere, and your heart be filled with Allah’s love this Ramadan. May the blessings of Ramadan fill your life with peace, your heart with faith, and your home with happiness!”
He urged Muslims to seize this time of Ramadan to pray for peace, love, unity and progress of Ogbomosoland and Nigeria at large.
