Later, Olaleye said the Oba made brisk visits to water rehabilitation project sites in Ogbomoso – Osupa reservoir points and the Randa area, where pipes were replaced.
He added, “The Kabiyesi after inspecting the project expressed satisfaction at the progress of work. He commended the contractor and urged them to sustain the tempo. As at now, the last part which is repairs at the dam has begun. Pipe-borne water will soon spurt from taps in Ogbomoso and environs.

Meanwhile, Olaleye, who is also the president of Ogbomoso Community Youth Forum (OCYF), refused to be drawn into the controversy over the Chief Imam’s recent outbursts, targeted at the Soun and which generated a lot of outrage.
“No, the Kabiyesi made no comment, though he read and saw the video footages of the tirades by the Chief Imam,” he retorted.
“But you can’t expect His Majesty to respond. The Kabiyesi had stated he had no comment moreover when the Imam had taken him to court.
“The matter is in court and since His Majesty has the highest regard for the court he wouldn’t make a comment on the vexatious matter.”
