DOUBLE: Soun sends another goodwill message at New Year

The Soun of Ogbomosoland, His Imperial Majesty Oba Ghandi Afolabi Olaoye Orumogege 111, has sent another congratulatory message to the citizens of the world especially his subjects on the celebration of a new year.
Oba Olaoye in another press statement issued by his secretary, Mr. Toyin Ajamu, recognized the new year will be a year of great significance for the people of the community, noting that as they unitedly and cooperatively explored their potentials for unprecedented growth and development their cherished goals would be attained.
ogbomosoinsightonline.com reported the new Soun earlier through his media aide Rev Peter Olaleye congratulated Nigerians on the occasion wishing them a prosperous year and emphasizing his vision to change the narrative of his immediate environment.
To underscore his determination the monarch has caused another goodwill message to be issued through the palace secretary Mr. Toyin Ajamu.
“May I congratulate people across the world especially my good people of Ogbomosoland for the new year 2024,” the second statement says.
“2024 will be a year of great significance for the people of Ogbomosoland as we cooperate and work together as a family because in unity we will move towards our cherished goal.”
It is assured, “His Imperial Majesty Oba Ghandi Afolabi Olaoye Orumogege 111 will use his vast experience in bringing positive impact on the lives of both indigenes and non-indigenes of this great community.
“All eyes have seen that Oba Ghandi started on a high note and the Alayeluwa’s twenty five (25) year development plan of turning Ogbomosoland into a model city can be easily achieved with your support.”
The monarch urged his people, those at home and in the diaspora, to be fired up in the new year to contribute meaningfully towards making the community an eldorado desired by all, averring that if the great potentials that abound are harnessed the goal will be realized.
“I want to admonish us to use this new year to show more commitment to the development and growth of Ogbomosoland by contributing more to building Ogbomoso, our root, from wherever we are working or living.
“It is my hope that if our resources are properly harnessed, we will break new frontiers and new and great things will begin to spring up up in Ogbomosoland, that will make her attractive to various people including those in the diaspora who will be willing to come home and establish industries and companies. If this is achieved, we will be able to create more job opportunities for our people.”
The Kabiyesi concluded, “I wish you a prosperous 2024. I pray Nigerians will have a better year in which our numerous and nefarious burdens will be eased.”
