A 300-level medical student of Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH) Ogbomoso, Mubaraq Tijani, currently is in need of forty million naira (N40m) to procure an artificial hand after losing his hand in a vehicle accident.
His right arm is gone and medical practitioners have told him he could regain the use of the hand and end up a medical doctor as he desires if he could procure a prosthetic upper right limb and urgently undergo a surgery.
In a message to ogbomosoinsightonline.com, titled, “A hand that can still heal others … With your help,” it is stated, “Sometimes, life changes in a single moment. Mubaraq Tijani, a dedicated 3rd-year medical student with a bright future ahead of him, lost his right hand in a tragic accident. Yet, in the midst of unimaginable pain, he has refused to surrender to despair. He is still writing his examinations, still pursuing his dream, and still believing that one day he will wear the white coat and save lives.
“Today, however, he cannot continue this journey alone.
“He urgently needs a prosthetic upper right limb and support for the associated surgical procedures. The cost is far beyond what his family can bear, but together, it is a burden we can lift.
