Hmmmmm, what will be going on in the minds of those in the hands of kidnappers? Their government is powerless to rescue them from the hands of their captors! An American was kidnapped in a forest in Nigeria years ago, the Americans who value the life of an individual and who sees the life of an individual as equal to the life of their President, who is the most powerful President in the world, left America with their arsenal and all it needed, came to the backyard of Nigeria and rescued just a single American!

That is the primary constitutional responsibility of a responsible and constitutional conscious government. Nigerian lives are worthless in the face of any government in Nigeria, the reason bandits, terrorists, Fulani herdsmen, ISIS, ISWAP etc, etc have their field day in Nigeria. Since about fifteen years ago that Buhari and this government came to power, people have been dying in droves which sadly does not seem to have any impact in the immediate past administration and the present one. In as much as it is not the President, his family, the National Assembly members, cabinet members or any big politician that is involved, the government feels unconcerned and comfortable with it.

The common man being captured in the forest by kidnappers does not evoke any sympathy from our government! If it does like it is with the government of America, will they be talking of any form of elections now? The government of Nigeria is not for Nigerians but for politicians and their cronies and families. Election plus insecurity, economic strangulation and abject poverty is equal to untimely and preventable death. Who will safe Nigeria from the hands of the evil ones in government? Proverbs 29 verse 2 says, “When the righteous are in power, the people rejoice but when the wicked beareth rule, the people mourn.” God, we have been mourning in the hands of our government for a long time now, please let the righteous come to power and begin to rule in Nigeria in Jesus’ name. May God hear our cries and prayers and come to our rescue in Jesus’ name.
