My joy knows no bounds when I learnt that Engineer Open Salawu was the choice of our governor as deputy governorship candidate. It was a sagacious and a godly decision. A good Muslim by faith and a none fanatic, who loves both Muslims and also the Christians. He is a perfect choice in the Islamic faith and a round peg in a round hole. He is a perfect match indeed. Before now he has been a great philanthropist and as soon as he got political appointment, he tremendously increased his philanthropic gesture. With his wealth of experience, Oyo state nay Ogbomosho will enjoy his tenure. Ogbomosho has every reason to thank God and Governor Seyi Makinde for his magnanimity to Ogbomosho. By the grace of God, Governor Seyi Makinde will not regret his action and decision to honour Ogbomosho with his choice of Engineer Open Salawu, whose door will be opened as his name depicts for all and sundry in his administration.

I pray that our next elevation in Ogbomosho will be the position of governor, we will remember that late Chief Christopher Adebayo Alao-Akala was formerly a deputy before rising to become governor. My hearty congratulations to Engineer Open Salawu, his family, Ogbomosho and the people of Oyo state in general. Our profound gratitude and appreciation to our amiable governor, Engineer Seyi Makinde for the honour done Ogbomosho people for his choice. God bless you. God bless Ogbomosho and congratulations to our Imperial Majesty, Oba, Olaoye Afolabi Ghandi during whose reign this happened again. My prayer is that our choice will win the governorship election in the state under the banner of APM in Jesus’ name. Once more, Engineer Open Salawu, accept my hearty congratulations. God bless you while wishing all the best.
