The management and staff of Genesis Medical Diagnostics Centre, Ogbomoso, have felicitated with Muslim faithful across Ogbomoso, Oyo State, Nigeria and the world at large on the occasion of Eid al-Kabir celebration.
In a goodwill message released by the management of the medical facility, the Centre described Eid al-Kabir as a season that reflects the virtues of faith, obedience, sacrifice, compassion and total submission to the will of Almighty Allah.
The statement noted that beyond the celebrations, family gatherings and festive atmosphere associated with the season, Eid al-Kabir carries a deeper spiritual and moral message for society.
“Eid al-Kabir is a celebration of faith, obedience, sacrifice, compassion and total submission to the will of Almighty Allah. Beyond the beautiful clothing, family gatherings, festive meals and ram meat that humans suddenly become theologians over, this season carries a deeper message.
“True faith must reflect in love, discipline, generosity, humility and care for others,” the statement read.
The Centre stated that the spirit of Eid al-Kabir aligns with the values needed for a healthy and progressive society, stressing the importance of supporting vulnerable members of the community.

“At Genesis Medical Diagnostics Centre, we recognise that the spirit of Eid al-Kabir speaks directly to the values that hold every healthy society together. It reminds us that no community can grow where people live only for themselves.
“The poor, the sick, the elderly, widows, orphans, vulnerable families and struggling youths must not be forgotten, especially during moments of celebration.”
The management further urged Nigerians to embrace peaceful coexistence, compassion and unity amid prevailing economic and social challenges facing many families.
“This sacred festival calls us to peaceful coexistence, moral responsibility and community solidarity. In a time when many families are facing economic pressure, insecurity, health challenges and social uncertainty, Eid al-Kabir should inspire us to strengthen one another, forgive one another, support one another and build a more compassionate society.”
As a healthcare institution committed to community wellbeing, the Centre also advised members of the public to celebrate responsibly and pay attention to their health during the festive period.

“We encourage everyone to eat responsibly, avoid reckless driving, maintain cleanliness during animal slaughter and meat handling, monitor their health and seek medical attention early when symptoms arise.
“Celebration should not become an emergency case file. Humanity has already created enough problems without adding preventable illness to the list.”
The management also called on Muslim faithful to use the season to pray for peace, security, wisdom for leaders and renewed hope for Nigeria.
The statement concluded with prayers for peace, healing, provision and unity in homes and communities.
“May Almighty Allah accept the sacrifices and prayers of all Muslim faithful. May this Eid bring peace to our homes, healing to the sick, comfort to the distressed, provision to struggling families and unity to our communities.
“On behalf of the Management and Staff of Genesis Medical Diagnostics Centre, Ogbomoso, we wish all Muslim brethren a peaceful, blessed and joyful Eid al-Kabir celebration. Eid Mubarak.”
