Tinubu appointee distributes food packages to Ogbomoso indigenes

A federal government appointee from Ogbomoso, Professor Ibrahim Adeyanju, Saturday morning, put smiles on the faces of the people of the city with free distribution of food items, in a programme tagged, “Food relief package for widows and the less-privilege.”

The programme held at the Old Eid Prayer Ground, opposite LAUTECH Teaching Hospital, saw many beneficiaries trooping in to collect the package, which was done irrespective of religious or ethnic affiliation.
Prof Adeyanju, CEO of Galaxy Backbone Limited, said he was motivated to roll out the programme as a form of gratitude to the society he came from, and to propagate the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. He is trying a lot, if you are in a position, you will understand how difficult it is, and he is actually striving to make things better and people should continue to have hope. We should also understand that the government alone cannot do it, in our own personal capacity, we should do something.”

Adeyanju further remarked that “this became imperative to bring relief to the citizenry under the ‘Renewed Hope is Working,’ mantra.’’
He emphasized President Bola Tinubu is committed to achieving a “stable economy with stabilized exchange rate and improved fiscal discipline, committed to youth-centric leadership with impactful intervention through NELFUND and youth empowerment programs, and infrastructure development with visible improvement in roads, power supply, transportation system etc.”
He urged the gathering to cooperate with the president in the spirit of “Together, we are building a greater Nigeria.”

He assured, “It is something that will happen every month, we will take it to different places. My prayer is to take it to other places.”
Different speakers including Alhaja Nurat Olayiwola and Prof Tijani Abduwahab, commended the gesture of Prof Adeyanju noting he is a good example.
Some of the beneficiaries including Ndukare Chinyere and Salahudeen Sukurat, also expressed appreciation praying God will take care of him too.
