This is often resorted to as a strategy to protect themselves. Recall security agents made up of soldiers, policemen, Amotekun Corps, Agro Rangers and and local security personnel, closed in on the bandits Saturday evening, which made the assailants to detonate Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs) killing an Amotekun Corps member instantly, and wounding others including soldiers. That put the rescue operation on hold yesterday. It has been learnt the attack yesterday happened at Sepeteri area in Oke-Ogun. “But now we heard they are at Igbori area also in Oke-Ogun. The security team has not lost sight of the terrorists since they first discovered their location but they are being cautious because of the abductees in their custody. The Amotekun operatives are said to have returned to action. We are confident we will get them and rescue the abductees,” a source informed Ogbomoso Insight.
