Oba Ghandi to hold Ikoyi town hall meeting April 14

The Soun of Ogbomosoland His Imperial Majesty Oba Ghandi Afolabi Olaoye Orumogege III is set to hold the Ikoyi Town Hall meeting on Tuesday, April 14, 2026.

According to a press release by Peter Olaleye Special Assistant on Media and Community Relations to Oba Ghandi the meeting would hold at the Oriire local government secretariat Ikoyi-Ile, starting 10 am.

“Ikoyi Town Hall meeting will hold on Tuesday, April 14, 2026, at the Oriire local government Secretariat in Ikoyi-Ike,” the release states.

It is added that the gathering will afford the monarch the opportunity to further unveil his programmes towards the development of Ogbomosoland especially his 25 year-development plan.

The citizens will also have the opportunity of asking questions on developmental issues and “importantly, it will promote harmony, peace and unity in the zone which is very needed at a time like this.”

Recall that the townhall meeting was started in 2025 at the Lagbami Osekun Hall for the Ogbomoso South local government edition. Subsequently, the meeting was held in Ogbomoso North, Surulere and Ogo-Oluwa local governments.
