Sociological conflict is normal and defiance is a way of life but there should be a way of resolving conflicts which is the court. Frankly speaking, court has been established as an avenue where justice is guaranteed and a solace for common man when being oppressed by the rich.

The issue of Imamship in Ogbomoso that is brought to the Oyo state judiciary has left much to be desired in the history of judiciary as being the last hope of common man for redress. It is regrettable the case has been dragging for too long, making insinuation of justice being delayed as justice denied, as rife. The case is so volatile and as such needs to be treated urgently. The constant adjournment of the case is unbecoming of the judiciary as any further delay can cause chaos.

We heard one side boasting the case shall continue undecided for 25 years. This is to show that they have no evidence to prove their case so they scheme for unending adjournment to perpetrate their (illegal stay or occupation) of the seat. We are therefore appealing to Oyo State Judiciary to decide the case in earnest.

This Monday and Tuesday l learned are another days of sittings on the case. So, let the law prevail so we know who is the culprit or otherwise. All eyes are thus on the Oyo State judiciary, let them do the needful and restore the confidence people have in the judiciary as being the agent of conflict resolution and last hope of common man for redress. Long live Oyo State judiciary, the last hope of common man for redress.
