“If judgement is delivered on the case involving the Grand Chief Imam the town will move on from there,” Alhaji Adedigba said. “We will know who is who. Everybody is waiting to know the right thing, based on the outcome of the court, but unfortunately the judiciary is delaying the process believably on the basis of frivolity. And we all know justice delayed is not only justice denied but a dangerous thing. Ogbomoso is on an edge, there is no peace, no unity; brothers are set apart, politics is asunder, couples are not together, religious groups are enmeshed in division, traders are at loggerhead because of this case. Even look at Ogbomoso Parapo that is over 60 years old, it is now split because of this matter. This doesn’t augur well for our town.”

Adedigba thus appeals to the judge in charge of the case to hasten the process “by stopping to entertain frivolites by the parties involved.”
He alleged, “The delay is becoming intentional, the judge should stop playing their game. If you are sure of yourself why scheming for unnecessary delay? Claiming your lawyer is out of the town, your certain witness can’t make it to the court. The judge should not buy into this again, the fate of a whole town rests on it, let justice be served in earnest. All eyes are now on Oyo State Judiciary.”
Adedigba stressed the matter would have been resolved if it’s not in court urging the judiciary to consider the peace and stability of Ogbomoso. “If judgement is delivered every party will accept their fate.”
