“We can still bring his memory alive by caring for the aged, that was what our father, Williams Ibikunle Ojediran immersed himself in. That is why we instituted this program, let’s celebrate him, honour his memory so that the legacy of what he loved to do would not go into oblivion,” her daughter said at the launch held recently.

“He loved Ogbomoso exceedingly, and he believed we are all one, people in fact jokingly called him “Ibikunle Onilekayakayo,” because no matter what, if you go to his house, you will find something to eat and be full. Let me emphasize this is not for politics but in remembrance of our father’s legacy. He gave without making noise, his life is worthy of emulation. Similarly, he took care of his health greatly, and we also want to reenact this in the life of the aged. We thank all those who turned up to receive these gifts, if we bring out gifts and nobody comes out to receive them, it will be embarrassing.
