Oyo Majority Leader donates borehole pumping machine to Govt Technical College

Majority Leader of the Oyo State House of Assembly Hon Sanjo Adedoyin has donated a borehole (submersible) pumping machine to the Government Technical College Kajola area Ogbomoso.

Donating the item through a representative Hon Adedoyin said the gesture was borne out of a request by the principal of the school Mr. Kehinde Adebiyi that an organisation recently drilled a borehole for the school but without a pumping machine.

Adedoyin who is representing Ogbomoso South state constituency noted the gesture was to ease the plight of lack of potable water in the school. “When water is not available within a school premises the tendency is for the students to sneak out to obtain water which exposes them to danger and this is taken advantage of by some students to roam about. So, this is a gesture to solve a problem,” Adedoyin added.

The principal expressed gratitude saying he had to approach the legislator after an

he didn’t want to mention yet drilled a borehole for the school on the condition that they complete the process. “That’s why we contacted the Majority Leader to solicit his assistance, we thank him as he responded promptly. We thank others who recently added value to the school too, at the appropriate time these will be revealed,” the principal informed.

Hon Adedoyin has from time to time being assisting schools to meet some basic needs. Schools like Ogbomoso High School (standard goalpost), Baptist Secondary Grammar School Ahoyaya (part perimeter fencing), Adeniran Memorial Grammar School (financial support) and so on have benefited his acts of eleemosynary in recent times.
