The philanthropist therefore called on governments and security agencies to rise to the occasion stressing Southwest should not be allowed to become another killing field by bandits and terrorists.
He noted the event is an eye opener appealing to governments to come up with measures to combat the menace.
“The attack l reiterate is most regrettable. But it is an eye opener, it foreshadows the evil intents of the criminals. I thus appeal to governments at different levels and security agencies to rise to the occasion. It is very imperative. We can’t allow our region to become another killing field where bandits and terrorists roam freely perpetrating their evil agenda of killing, abducting people to collect ransom, destroying properties and generally foisting an atmosphere of fear. We call on governments to put up measures to nick it in the bud. And it must be urgent,” he added.

The House of Representatives’ aspirant meanwhile hailed “the quick response of the state governor Engr Seyi Makinde to the emergency situation.”
“The governor quickly addressed and reassured the people of the state on security and facilitated the quick visit to the scene by heads of security agencies. That is the kind of leadership that works and is borne by concerns for the people it leads.”
Onireti prays for the repose of the soul of the departed. “I commiserate their families, the Baale and people of Oloka, and all Oriire local government area inhabitants in general. We identify with you at this time.”
