Ogbomoso Parapo Jos dissociates self from suit against Soun, accuses national exco of unilateral decision

Ogbomoso Parapo Worldwide Jos Plateau state has thrown its weight behind the Soun of Ogbomosoland His Imperial Majesty Oba Ghandi Afolabi Olaoye Orumogege III and the caretaker committee the monarch appointed to re-organise the organisation following the dissolution of the national exco.

In a letter signed by its chairman and secretary Noah Olawale and Abraham Akanbi respectively addressed to the Soun, the Jos branch stated, “Our attention has been drawn to a lingering court case instituted against the decision of putting a caretaker committee to oversee the re-organization of Ogbomoso Parapo Worldwide to meet a globally acceptable standard expected of an organization that which Ogbomoso Parapo should not fall below.”

The group noted the initiator of the court case took the decision unilaterally without reaching out to branches of the socio-cultural organisation, thus dissociating itself from the action.

“We of Ogbomoso Parapo Yantrailer Jos, wishes to write to dissociate ourselves from any form of court case against the caretaker committee and His Majesty in any form over the dissolution of an earlier Executive of this our prestigious Ogbomoso Parapo Worldwide, as at no time were we as a body communicated on any decision to institute such a court case against the dissolution.”
