Ogbomoso’s education sector has received a major boost as the Oyo state government has officially approved Standard/Master Mind Tutorial Academy, Olomi-Randa area as a registered continuous education centre.

This approval, recently granted, is a clear recognition of the academy’s consistent record of excellence, quality teaching, and commitment to raising well-grounded students who excel academically and morally.

Speaking on the cheering news, the proprietor cum director, Mr. Gbemileke Kayode Ogunkoya, expressed gratitude to the state government for the recognition, promising to further uphold best practices in teaching and mentorship.

“This is a cheering development. We thank God for the approval and we express our gratitude to the Oyo State Government for granting our academy approval as a Continuous Education Centre,” Mr. Ogunkoya said in a statement.

“I will say it is a well deserved recognition for our years of impacting students. We make bold to say our efforts reflect in the results usually posted by our students. We are committed and we will continue to uphold best practices in teaching and mentorship.”

The enthusiastic educationist flaunts the UTME results of their students in 2025 with the best three, Isaac Nelson, Adegbosin Adedamola Samuel and Adediran Favour Oluwadara scoring 344, 334 and 327 respectively. Seven other students notched scores above 250.

The centre he informs has been operating for the past 8 years preparing students for JAMB’s UTME/WAEC/NECO/NABTEB/GCE and so on, adding they also offer CBT training for students.

“Really, we have been recording numerous achievements too many to be counted. Our students have moved on to emerge as graduates in different fields, and continue to garner high scores in post UTME, etc,” he further disclosed.

Ogunkoya assured parents and guardians across Ogbomoso and its environs “who enrol their children and wards in our academy, Standard/Master Mind Tutorial Academy, are guaranteed outstanding academic performance and holistic educational development.”

This is as he added, “With this new milestone, Standard/Master Mind Tutorial Academy is poised to remain a leading light in continuous education within Oyo State.”
