He continued, “The need for the establishment of the school becomes imperative when we realise that our children trek many distances to acquire secondary education. It is not even the distance alone but the risk involved as the students have to cross busy express roads, which constitutes constant risk to their lives.
”In this millennium we believe education should be accessible to all children. At Aaje we wholeheartedly embrace the vision of His Imperial Majesty Oba Ghandi Afolabi Olaoye Orumogege III that Ogbomoso people should always be at the decision making tables and this can only be achieved if our youths have access to education and are well educated.
“A child that has to trek 6 kilometres every morning and afternoon under scorching sun and torrential rain and navigating treacherous roads will not have incentive to acquire education. That is why we are making the push and appealing for the secondary school moreover when we have free education policy under His Excellency Governor Seyi Makinde and teachers are being employed in numbers.
“Our people are happy with the governor and they want secondary education facility taken closer to them. I am speaking for our people. We are highly desirous of it.”
