AVM Jacob Adigun pays tribute to Justice Afolabi Adeniran

The transition of Hon. Justice Afolabi Adeniran rtd has continued to attract condolences from Nigerians who recognised his contributions to the judiciary.
Justice Adeniran passed away in Ibadan on Sunday during a brief illness at the age of 83.
Air Vice Marshal Jacob Bolaji Adigun (rtd) also paying tribute described the passing of the legal luminary as “passing of a dedicated and respected member of the judiciary, known for his sharp legal mind, commitment to fairness and fidelity.”
He added in a statement signed by Olusegun Aremu, spokesperson for Ogbomoso Descendants Development Association, ODDA, “We are overwhelmed with emotion during this mourning period. Justice Afolabi Adeniran passed away at a time his experience, expertise of law and knowledge are most needed. He personified integrity and was an incorrigible character who will continue to be a role model.”

AVM similarly lauded the deceased for his “commitment to the Ogbomoso community,” saying “he charted a path the likes of us would like to follow. He committed the last years of his glorious life to the service of Ogbomosoland. He was a champion in community development initiative and his path is worthy of emulation. We have lost a city father.”
He extended sympathy to the family praying God will grant them the “fortitude to bear the loss.”
