Femi Onireti greets Muslims, preaches ‘love, national rebirth’

Femi Onireti, a chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party PDP has greeted the Muslim faithful as the 2026 Eid el-Kabir is celebrated worldwide.

Femi Onireti in a message he signed noted the significance of the Eid al-Adha must be understood and wholly imbibed for spiritual growth and promotion of love.

The Ogbomoso North/Ogbomoso South/Oriire federal constituency’s aspirant averred that if Nigerians religiously follow this path there would be national rebirth.

”l heartily greet Muslim brethren on the celebration of this year’s Eid el-Kabir. It’s a moment of joy witnessing another spiritually edifying festival,” he notes.

“As we celebrate however, let us not be unmindful of the significance of the festival. We must fully understand it. And we must embrace its teachings which include love, humility, obedience and sacrifice. This attitude will inspire spiritual growth and promote love and unity.”

He asserted “Nigeria is in dire need of national rebirth, l urge we follow the teachings of the festival to stimulate the drive towards national rebirth.”

Onireti also preaches “moderation and patriotism” as the occasion is celebrated “all weekend.”
