Recall that on Friday bandits attacked three schools in Oriire local government area killing and abducting teachers and students. One of the abductees according to a viral video Sunday night had been killed.
This is as a group of teachers have poured out to protest the abduction, carrying various placards and singing solidarity songs. They demanded rescue of the abductees in earnest.

“In my school, only two students came and one or two teachers as at the time I left, we couldn’t even go into the school premises, we stayed at the school gate, fearing any eventuality,” a teacher (names withheld) in one of the public secondary schools in the area said.
