OYPTS board members send heartfelt congratulatory message to boss Oladeji Dikko

Members of the board of the Oyo State Pacesetter Transport Service Company have sent a congratulatory message to their chairman, Hon. Dr. Ibraheem Salami Oladeji Dikko, to celebrate his two years in the saddle.

The message titled, “Celebrating two years of impactful leadership at Oyo State Pacesetter Transport Service Company,” described Dr Dikko as a visionary leader, whom they noted had recorded remarkable achievements which helped to transform the firm.

Also, the Oyo state governor Engr Seyi Makinde was praised for his support stressing the governor’s backing had helped in raising the bar of innovativeness of the transport service company to international standard.

The Board, Management, and Staff of the Oyo State Pacesetter Transport Service Company heartily congratulate our visionary Chairman and Sole Administrator, Hon. Dr. Ibraheem Salami Oladeji Dikko, on the occasion of his two-year anniversary in office.

In the past two years, Hon. Dr. Dikko has led with unmatched dedication, strategic foresight, and unwavering commitment to service delivery. His tenure has witnessed groundbreaking achievements, including: Expansion from 2 to 39 intra-city routes across Ibadan Metropolis, launch of inter-city and inter-state routes, including Ibadan-Lagos and Ibadan-Abuja services, introduction of Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) buses and the Pacesetter Card for electronic fare payment, comprehensive reforms in staff welfare, recruitment, and departmental structure, development of modern transport infrastructure and deployment of ICT innovations, enhanced security, safety, innovations, enhanced security, safety, and customer service standards.

These accomplishments have transformed PTS into a world-class public transport agency, aligning with global best practices and truly setting the pace in Nigeria’s transport sector.

We especially appreciate His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Oyo State, Engr. Oluseyi Makinde, for his unwavering support, visionary leadership, and continued investment in the growth of public transportation in Oyo State. His backing has been instrumental in lifting PTS to international standards.

As we celebrate this milestone, we look forward with optimism to the next phase of progress-anchored on innovation, inclusion, and service excellence.
