Children fete Mama E.E. Ajala on birthday

It was a day of joy on Thursday, August 27 in Ibadan as the children and grandchildren of Mrs. Elizabeth Ebunlomo Ajala colourfully celebrated her 70th birthday. It was a surprise package as the celebrant had no inkling of what was coming.

She was visibly but joyfully shocked and overwhelmed when she discovered the indoor surprise prepared in her honour.

Expressing her appreciation, she said she never expected such a wonderful surprise and prayed fervently for all her children, asking God to bless, protect and reward them abundantly.

The 70th birthday celebration continued on Saturday, 29th August 2026, as family members, friends and loved ones gathered to celebrate the life and achievements of this virtuous woman. It was a beautiful occasion filled with joy, laughter, prayers, thanksgiving and expressions of love and appreciation for Mrs. Elizabeth Ajala.

The family thanked God for the gift of her life, good health and the privilege of witnessing another milestone birthday surrounded by the people she loves.

The last part of the celebration was the thanksgiving service at Union Baptist Church Ekotedo Ibadan where the congregation celebrated Mama Ajala of her selfless, devoted and committed service to God and the people at large.
