Celebrations as Ogbomoso receives Jubril Dotun Sanusi’s mobilization team led by Oyo state market leader

The atmosphere in Ogbomoso was ecstatic on Thursday, Oct 24th, 2024, as market leaders and various groups assembled to welcome Oyo state market leader, Alhaja Saratu Aduke Konibaje and other groups mobilizing for JDS 2027 agenda.
With intermittent shouts of “Egbe Oloja” “Egbe Onise-owo and Onisowo,”capped terminally with “Ogbomoso Parapo ” the elated crowd chorused “O ba je ti,” they enthusiastically welcomed the Iyaloja’s train.
The market leaders from the 5 local government areas that make up Ogbomoso land were coordinated by Alhaji Yekeen K, the Asiwaju of all marketers in Ogbomoso land.
Present at the capacity filled hall at Boluyo section, Aarada Market, were top notch market leaders, youths and women and in addition, different politically active groups, who came to solidarize with 2027 JDS Agenda.
The numerous market leaders included members of the All Artisans and Technicians Associations, Ogbomoso (ATAO) president, Saka Abiodun; Iyalojas from Ogbomoso North and South, Oriire, Surulere and Ogo Oluwa local governments, Alhaja Ramfat Abdulwahab, Iyalaje Oloye Chief Bola Alao, Alhaja Oyedele Oyedele, Dr Mrs Mary Afolabi, Babalola Itunu respectively.

Others included Babaloja for Ogbomoso South local government, AbdulRasak, who was one of the prominent coordinators of the well organized event and Mr AbdulWahab Moshood, who spoke on behalf of the youths.
In the entourage of the Jubril Dotun Sanusi (JDS) Mobilization Agenda Team, led by the Iyaloja General, Alhaja Saratu Aduke Konibaje, were the personal assistant (PA), Olori Atoke who introduced others, Baba Ajongolo of Ibadan Joint Traders, Alhaja Monsurat Oladepo, the Ekefa Iyaloja of Ibadan, Mrs Oluwatoyin Busari, Iyaloja Eleyele, Olori Jero Ghaddafi, Oladiti of National Association of Nigerian Traders (NANT), “Hollywood,” the Ibadan North East coordinator and Princess Ramat Aderonke, popularly known as “Ara,” the chairperson of NANT, who admonished the youths on active political participation.
Also in the entourage were Alhaji Fatai Usman, the NANT vice chairman and Mr Olosun from Gbagi market unit.
Members of Itesiwaju Oyo Dotun Movement also were in the entourage, Mr Kehinde Adegoke, Mrs Abiodun Bolanle and Mr Alabi Caleb, who all coordinated JDS membership registration.

While speaking, Alhaja Saratu Aduke Konibaje appealed for unflinching support for the JDS agenda as it unfolds. She reiterated numerous impacts in different areas, that attracted people’s interest in Chief Dotun Sanusi (ILAJI) becoming the next governor of Oyo state.
Other speakers also advocated strong support for the Jagunmolu of Ibadanland.
Alhaja Saratu Aduke Konibaje donated money, notebooks and copies of “Oyo NewsFly Magazine, which details information about Ilaji and the JDS governorship concept.
