Ogbomosoland 25-yr devpt plan receives boost as Kunle Adegbite Twindad makes donation

As the Soun of Ogbomosoland Oba Ghandi Afolabi Olaoye Orumogege III kick-started his 25-year development plan initiative with inauguration of various committees to drive the project and meeting critical stakeholders, one of which is his recent visits to the United Kingdom and United States of America, to unveil the plans and seek cooperation, a US-based Ogbomoso indigene, Dr. Kunle Adegbite, has contributed his widow’s mite towards the realization of the project.
Dr Adegbite founder and CEO of Twindad Foundation, that runs Twindad Orphanage Home, Ogbomoso, donated $5, 000 (five thousand dollars), which is equivalent of about N8m (eight million naira), ogbomosoinsightonline.com has learnt.

According to information reaching our stable, he made the pledge during the annual convention of the Ogbomoso Sons and Daughters in North America (OSDNA) recently, which he has now fulfilled.
One of his aides who however spoke under the condition of anonymity confirmed the development when contacted by ogbomosoinsightonline.com.
“Yes, Dr. Kunle Adegbite made a promise and he has fulfilled it. He has keyed into the marvelous project, the 25-year development plan of His Imperial Majesty Oba Ghandi. This donation is an indication of his commitment and his belief in the initiative of our Kabiyesi,” the aide said.

“As things unfold he is bound to do more. He is a patriotic son of Ogbomosoland who is excited to see a new Ogbomoso evolve, become a highly developed city, decked in stunning and touristic beauty and turn into a hub of economic activities.
“As Kabiyesi has emphasized the Ogbomoso people need to take the lead in the task of birthing this new city, we need to complement government. Dr Adegbite by this contribution is showing his devotion to his home city, like saying, ‘let’s see how it pans out first, this is the first tranche we will do more.’ That’s it, no big deal.”
