According to a statement issued by Dr. K. A. Ogunleye, the institution’s registrar on the 2nd of August, 2024, the admission registration for 2024 is scheduled for Monday, 5th of August 2024 to 6th September, 2024. It was stressed that any candidate that could not upload his or her result before the deadline will not be considered for 2024 admission. As a concerned citizen, I am passionately appealing to the vice chancellor of the institution, Prof. Razaq Olatunde Rom Kalilu, the registrar, governing council, senate and relevance authorities of the institution to please extend the closing date for 2024 admission closing date to give opportunity to candidates that will use National Examinations Council (NECO) result for the admission. Based on the NECO programme, the marking exercise for 2024 will start on the 23rd of August and will end on the 8th of September, 2024 which is far behind the institution’s deadline for the 2024 admission. The release date of the result will still take few weeks after the marking.

I am humbly appealing to the relevant LAUTECH authorities to please extend the admission deadline to afford thousands of candidates that will use NECO result to participate in the admission process. I want to bring to your notice that these candidates have successfully scored the cut off marks in JAMB in their respective courses of choice. The parents, guardians and general public are emphatically appealing to LAUTECH to kindly extend the closing date for registration for 2024 admission to a date when the NECO (SSCE) result will be available for upload so that the JAMB scores of the candidates will not be a waste as well as the efforts and hope of thousands of parents. LAUTECH will continue to grow and stand tall globally. The management and staff both academics and non academics will not lag behind in development. All concerned individuals will be glad if the request for extension of the 2024 admission deadline is granted.
