LETTER: A belated confession!

The confession of an already known fact, by ex-head of state Ibrahim Badamosi Babangida is just opening of an old wound. The damage caused by his devilish act is the cause of the predicament we are into now and which only God knows how and when we will be out of it.
The hope that the election of 1993 would have given us then that he, Babangida turned to hopelessness is the bane of our problem. The suffering that the masses are undergoing now and the abject poverty that is ravaging the nation is as a result of his devilish and selfish decision to annul the election. The wicked annulment dimmed our hope for a great future and is the cause of our retrogression. It was this heinous act that brought Buhari who destroyed this nation beyond repairs and handed us over to another destiny destroyer that we are battling with now.
Let him know clearly that we Nigerians will never forgive him, it is only God that can forgive him. The damage his annulment caused is irreparable. We are in another disaster now and only God can deliver us from the evil train we are into again. He should know as Julius Caesar said, ” the evil that men did, live after them”. As the evil genius that he is nicknamed, his evil deeds will live after him to pay him in full. God will judge him.

Now, he has by the launching of his book raked billions of Naira at this hard time even on a wheelchair for a so-called library project from his cronies who benefitted immensely from his evil decision of annulment. Instead of using this homongous amount to invest in the life of the youth whose future he has destroyed, he is into building an invisible library. Can a hungry man read? For those gathered there to celebrate him, you’re all mocking the masses and praising the one who destroyed the future of this nation. Nothing less than this. God dey.
Those that gathered at the event are criminals who are the beneficiaries of the heinous crime committed by IBB that led to the death of the winner of the election Chief MKO Abiola and his wife Kudirat and many promising individuals and ignited a monumental destruction of properties. The effects of these evil deeds are the cause of our present predicament in the form of bad leadership, corruption, looting and retrogression. This is why the masses of this nation wallowing in abject poverty and penury will forever curse him. He destroyed the essence of our national anthem and unity and since then we have never and we can never have a free, fair and credible election again. And without the above we can never have a true leader who is a patriot. But corrupt, selfish, wicked, visionless, rudderless, planless and looting leaders in government. May God Help Nigeria to survive
