Booda Sunday Adeyemo popularly called BSA has been confirmed as the African Democratic Congress (ADC) candidate for Ogbomoso South State Constituency in the forthcoming 2007 general elections to Oyo State House of Assembly.

The party in a ceremony held at the party’s secretariat in Ibadan, issued him the nomination form, which he subsequently filled and returned, demonstrating his acceptance of the nomination.

Speaking shortly after, Adeyemo expressed appreciation to the party’s leadership assuring he would not disappoint the confidence reposed in him.

He described the successful submission of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) nomination form as another important step in his commitment to offer purposeful and people-oriented representation, promising to run an issue-based campaign anchored on “service, integrity, accountability, and grassroots development.”

“I appreciate the leadership of our great party, the African Democratic Congress, and every member who has stood by me throughout this process. The submission of my Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) nomination form is not just the fulfilment of an electoral requirement; it is another step in our collective resolve to build a better future for Ogbomoso South,” he added.

 

“I remain committed to the ideals of our party and to the welfare of our people. By the grace of God, I will continue to deploy my talent, experience, and personal resources in the service of our constituency. Our campaign will focus on the real needs of the people and the development of every community in Ogbomoso South.”

Booda Sunday Adeyemo also called on party faithful to remain united and continue mobilising support across all wards, expressing confidence that the ADC is well-positioned to record victory in the forthcoming election.

 

Party leaders who witnessed the submission commended Booda Sunday Adeyemo for his dedication and steadfast commitment to the growth of the ADC, expressing optimism that his grassroots popularity, humanitarian record, and inclusive leadership style would further strengthen the party’s chances at the polls.

Supporters of the House of Assembly hopeful described the submission of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) nomination form as the formal commencement of a new phase in the campaign, pledging to intensify mobilisation efforts across Ogbomoso South in preparation for the 2027 general election.
