Adegbite Twindad emerges NDC candidate for Ogbomoso federal constituency, unveils first priority

Dr Kunle Adegbite chairman of Twindad Foundation has been declared as the flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) for Ogbomoso North/Ogbomoso South/Oriire federal constituency.

Dr Adegbite was affirmed Friday at the NDC primaries held at Bodija in Ibadan, which also produced all candidates for the party in the 2027 general elections.

Speaking with newsmen after his candidature was sealed, Adegbite said that the people of his constituency had long desired purposeful representation.

He said, “The time for compassionate and effective representation is now,” asserting that “leadership must be about service, and not self-interest.”

He said the immediate concern in his constituency was the release of the children recently abducted in Orire local government area, adding that all hands must be on the deck to secure the immediate release of the children and others in captivity.

Highlighting his areas of focus, he noted he would prioritise women and youth empowerment, improving the lives of people in his constituency, organising programmes and instituting policies that would empower youths through skills acquisition, entrepreneurship, sports development and employment opportunities.
