The Director, City Boy Movement (CBM), Oyo state branch, Hon. Olufemi Onireti, has been appointed as a member of the All Progressives Congress (APC) screening committee in Bayelsa state.

This is according to a press statement by the media office of the CBM in Oyo state.

It is noted that this new national assignment reinforces his rising influence within APC national structure.

The engagement was aimed at fostering smooth coordination and ensuring a credible and seamless process.

It is further observed that the appointment comes at a significant political moment for Onireti, who has now formally joined the APC alongside his political associates, supporters, and ward structures in Ogbomoso, Oyo state.

The defection took place at the party’s zonal office in Apake, Ogbomoso, where he was warmly received by top party figures, including Senator Ayoade Adeseun, Hon Gunju Ojo, Hon Olamijuwonlo Alao-Akala, Senator Fatai Buhari (represented by Hon Adedeji Adeyemo), as well as leaders from the five local government areas in the Ogbomoso zone.

During the event Onireti pledged total commitment to the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the success of all APC candidates in the next electoral cycle.
