Femi Onireti set to formally defect to APC with over 5000 followers

Hon Olufemi Onireti, the Director General of the City Boy Movement (CBM), Oyo state branch, will tomorrow Thursday, May 7, defects to the All Progressives Congress (APC).

This is contained in a statement made available to newsmen Wednesday. “We are set to formally defect to the APC tomorrow May 7, 2026. APC recognizes our worth hence we were considered for a crucial assignment even before we formally decamp to the party. We therefore have no option but to ensure victory for APC in 2027, right from President Bola Tinubu.”

Onireti who used to be a chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) said his supporters and many former leaders of the party are enthusiastic to defect with him. He informed, “Yesterday, we distributed uniformed dresses for the programme but we discovered what we had on ground was grossly inadequate and so we had to quickly arrange for more. Our camp is agog to have the new experience.”
