“But her family paid ransom before her release was secured,” a source close to the family informed Ogbomoso Insight.

However, the amount paid as ransom was not disclosed.

This was confirmed by a source at the Amotekun Corps office.

But she sustained no injuries while in captivity and is currently receiving treatment at an unnamed medical facility. Her husband who was shot during the attack on their residence was said to have also recovered a bit.

Recall last week suspected Fulani herdsmen, who were believed to be on revenge mission, shot the husband and kidnapped the heavily pregnant wife, because of earlier spat over animal grazing in their farm at Papa Abede area extension, along Siktiam Hotel – Industrial Estate road.
