Hon Olanlokun Olakanmi installed Baale Aronpe Asaate

A political topshot, Hon Olanlokun Ademola Olakanmi has been officially installed as the traditional ruler of Aronpe Asaate in Oriire local government area, Ogbomoso zone, Oyo state.

Hon Olakanmi was installed Friday by the Onimaya of Maya, Oba Iyiola Alabi, who charged him to be conscious of his new role just as his wife was urged to support him wholeheartedly. He is now to be known officially as Baale Olanlokun Ademola Olakanmi Omikunle l, Alasaate of Aronpe Asaate.

Advertisement Speaking with ogbomosoinsightonline.com on his installation Baale Olakanmi expressed happiness at the development thanking God and the chieftaincy family of Aronpe Asaate for his elevation.

He said creating the chiefdom was long overdue because of its unique history, while promising to develop the community.

”The chiefdom for the Alasaate of Aronpe Asaate has been long overdue because of the significance of our ancient town in history. I assure that l will make visible impact in the community,” he stated.

“I’m particularly grateful to the Orire Local Government Traditional Council. My appreciation goes to Onimaya of Maya, Oba Iyiola Alabi, at the palace of whom the event took place and to other members of the traditional council of Orire locaI government, who were in attendance including the Alara of Fapote, Oba John Oyeyiola Ogundipe; Onifedegbo of Fedegbo; the Elesiele of Esiele; and a host of all the other Obas, Baales and Chiefs that were present at the installation programme.”
