Recall Dr Adegbite, founder and chairman of Twindad Foundation, unveiled Wednesday that the foundation would adopt the three kids of the slain teacher including being responsible for their schooling.

“The tragic abduction of teachers from their schools in Oriire Local Government Area on May 15, 2026, and the eventual killing of Dn. John Olaleye and others by bandits remain one of the darkest moments in the history of our communities. The incident left many families devastated, while innocent children suddenly found themselves without the care, protection, and guidance of their beloved father.
“In the midst of this painful reality, Dr. Kunle Adegbite has demonstrated that true leadership is measured not merely by political ambition but by genuine love for humanity. His decision to adopt the late John Olaleye’s children—Daniel, Joy, and Morayo Olaleye—and provide them accommodation at the Twindad Orphanage Home in Hamama, Ogbomoso, where they will receive quality education, proper care, and other welfare benefits, is an extraordinary act worthy of commendation.

“This gesture goes beyond charity. It restores hope where despair once existed, provides comfort where there was sorrow, and assures these young children that society has not forgotten them. By investing in their future, Dr. Adegbite has shown that every child deserves the opportunity to dream, learn, and succeed regardless of life’s unfortunate circumstances.
“His intervention should serve as a challenge to political leaders, philanthropists, corporate organizations, religious institutions, and other well-meaning Nigerians to rise in support of families affected by insecurity. While government continues to strengthen security measures, members of society also have a moral responsibility to assist victims in rebuilding their lives.
“The Twindad Foundation has, through this noble action, reaffirmed the importance of compassion, selfless service, and community responsibility. Such humanitarian efforts deserve public recognition and encouragement because they promote the values of kindness, unity, and social justice.
“I also encourage governments at all levels, particularly the Oyo State Government, relevant education agencies, and other stakeholders, to continue providing support for families of teachers and other public servants who lost their lives in the line of duty. Their sacrifices should never be forgotten, and their dependants should receive the necessary care and opportunities to thrive.
“To Dr. Kunle Adegbite, I say thank you for proving that humanity still exists. Your kindness has not only transformed the lives of Daniel, Joy, and Morayo Olaleye but has also inspired countless others. May God Almighty reward your generosity, strengthen your resolve to continue serving humanity, and bless the Twindad Foundation with greater capacity to touch more lives.
“May the souls of Dn. John Olaleye and every victim of that unfortunate incident continue to rest in perfect peace, and may their families find lasting comfort.”
