The political atmosphere in Ogbomoso North was enlivened on Saturday as Hon. Tosin Olanrewaju Adegun marked his birthday with a significant political declaration, formally announcing his intention to contest for the Ogbomoso North State House of Assembly seat under the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the 2027 general elections.

The event, held at the Recreation Centre, Ogbomoso, drew party stakeholders, political associates, family members, friends, and supporters from across the constituency. In attendance were members of Team Ojuolore, the Akala Political Vanguard, and other grassroots political groups, signaling growing momentum around his aspiration.

Delivering a goodwill message, Comrade Adeleye Adeola of Odundun Motors, who also serves as Chairman of Team Larry Lokan, praised Hon. Adegun’s dedication to party ideals and grassroots politics, describing him as a dependable and progressive voice for Ogbomoso North.

In his remark, Hon. Adegun thanked supporters for the show of solidarity, noting that the birthday celebration doubled as a reaffirmation of his commitment to public service. He pledged to prioritize people-centered legislation and inclusive representation if elected.
