Introduction: A New Kind of Election, A New Kind of Leadership
The 2027 election in Oyo state is not an election about emotions, noise, or blind loyalty to political parties. It is an election that must be guided by wisdom, understanding, and the collective desire of our people to build a future that works for everyone—not a select few.
Our people must understand that this election is not about choosing who can dance on the campaign stage or who can share the most money. It is about choosing leaders with vision, competence, compassion, and courage to reposition Oyo state for greatness.
This election is about the aspirant and the party that are ready to:
✔ Implement true Local Government Autonomy
✔ Drive development across all sectors
✔ Strengthen transparency and probity
✔ Deliver people-inclusive governance
✔ Unlock the full potentials
of our resources, especially the Ibadan Circular Road
✔ Build a future where children have opportunities and elders live with dignity
This is the foundation of A Better Tomorrow for Oyo State.
1. The Foundation of a Better Tomorrow: People-First Governance
A Better Tomorrow must start with a government that honors people above politics.
My belief is simple:
Leadership is not to enrich oneself; leadership is to enrich the lives of the people.
A people-first government:
Listens before it acts
Plans before it spends
Accounts for every kobo
Ensures development reaches every home
This is the type of governance I am committed to offering.

2. Local Government Autonomy: The Engine of Grassroots Development
No state can progress when its Local Governments are weak.
True development must begin at the grassroots.
Under my leadership:
Local Governments will have full financial autonomy
LGA funds will be used strictly for community development
ICPC & EFCC will enforce compliance
Citizens and traditional rulers will monitor projects
State government will provide technical support, not interference
With autonomy, communities will gain:
Better feeder roads
Cleaner environments
Streetlights and security
Improved PHCs and schools
Youth employment
Functioning markets and motor parks
This is how we restore trust in government.
3. Economic Growth Through Innovation & Sector Expansion
A Better Tomorrow requires economic expansion, job creation, and private sector confidence.
Key Drivers:
A. Agriculture Rebirth
Mechanized farming
Cashew, mango, cassava, maize, and poultry value chains
1 million metric-tonne fishery target using Ikere Gorge Dam
Extension officers in every LGA
Commodity boards to protect farmers
B. Blue Economy (Water-Based Growth)
Massive aquaculture production
Irrigation farming
Water transport possibilities
Processing industries
C. Industrial Corridors
Ibadan–Akinyele Corridor
Ogbomoso–Ilorin Corridor
Oyo–Iseyin Corridor
Oke-Ogun Agro-Industrial Axis
These corridors will attract factories and investors.
D. Waste-to-Energy
We will use waste in six zones to generate electricity and jobs.
E. Tourism Expansion
Developing:
Ado-Awaye suspended lake
Oyo National Park
Idere Hills
Historical and cultural sites
4. Harnessing the Ibadan Circular Road Strategic Potential
The Ibadan Circular Road is not just a road project—it is a gateway to economic transformation.
Under a purposeful administration, the Circular Road can become:
A logistics hub
An industrial belt
A commercial expansion zone
A modern housing development corridor
A revenue generator for Oyo State
A regional transport powerhouse
With proper planning, it can attract industries, create jobs, and boost IGR significantly.

5. Transparent & Accountable Governance
A Better Tomorrow must be built on probity. There must be:
Open budgets
Digital treasury systems
Zero cash handling
Monthly financial transparency dashboards
Independent audits
Anti-corruption compliance at all levels
Government must be open, clean, and accountable.
6. Social Welfare: The Heart of a Better Tomorrow
A society cannot grow when the people are abandoned.
My agenda focuses strongly on:
Youth empowerment & skills training
Elderly care & support
Universal health insurance
Support for widows & vulnerable households
Educational modernization
Affordable housing for civil servants
A Better Tomorrow begins with a government that protects the weak and supports the strong.
7. Security Built on Technology, Community & Trust
Safety is the foundation of development.
I will implement:
A statewide digital security monitoring system
CCTV in critical towns
Drone surveillance in rural areas
Strengthened Amotekun
Community policing partnerships
Security intelligence units in all LGAs
A secure state is an economically prosperous state.
8. My Personal Commitment to Oyo State
I am not coming to government to enrich myself or to serve the interest of a few.
I am coming to serve with:
Clean hands
Clear conscience
A God-fearing heart
A people-first ideology
A vision to build a greater state
I have no reason to steal from Oyo State, but every reason to build it.
Conclusion: Together, Let Us Build a Better Tomorrow
A Better Tomorrow is possible.
But it will not happen by accident.
It requires:
Right leadership
Clear vision
Bold decisions
Unity of purpose
Love for our state
Respect for the people
I stand ready to serve, ready to lead, and ready to work with every citizen, every community, and every stakeholder to build the Oyo State we all dream of.
A better tomorrow starts with you.
A better tomorrow starts with all of us.
A better tomorrow starts now.
