AVM Adigun congratulates Dr Balogun on chieftaincy appointment

Air Vice Marshal (Dr) JB Adigun (rtd), FSS, MSS, DSS, Psc+, Fdc, MSc, FCAA, has congratulated the newly appointed Balogun of Ogbomosoland Dr Saka Adegbite Balogun.
ogbomosoinsightonline.com reports that the Oyo state government announced the approval of Dr Saka Balogun as the Balogun in a letter dated April 28. The approval was sequel to the endorsement by the Soun of Ogbomosoland His Imperial Majesty Oba Ghandi Afolabi Olaoye Orumogege III, whose high chief Dr Balogun will be.
In a congratulatory message personally signed by AVM Adigun, who is the President of Ogbomoso Descendants Development Association (ODDA), the appointment was described as a well deserved one saying Dr Balogun has contributed immensely to the growth and development of the city.
He expressed gratitude to Oba Olaoye for the endorsement and also thanked the Oyo state governor Engr Seyi Makinde for the seal of approval granted the recommendation.
“I want to congratulate Dr Saka Adegbite Balogun on his appointment as the Balogun of Ogbomoso Land. The appointment is expected and is a very well-deserved one,” AVM Adigun noted.
“It is well-deserved looking at his humongous contributions to the development of Ogbomoso Land. He has demonstrated his love for Ogbomoso in several ways and crowning it with such exalted position is elating.

“I want to commend the Soun of Ogbomoso Land His Imperial Majesty Oba Ghandi Afolabi Olaoye Orumogege III for his discretion in nominating such highly cerebral individual for the position and also l extend appreciation to the Oyo State governor Engr. Oluseyi Makinde for granting approval. It will be a new era in our community.”
AVM Adigun who is also the Akogun of Ogbomosoland prayed the “new Balogun will live up to expectations and bring innovations to move the community forward. We charge him to cooperate with the Soun, other members of the traditional council, and the state government. May his reign be a blessing to his family and to Ogbomosoland.”
