Oba Ghandi Olaoye: Best wishes from National Council of Women Societies

The Oyo state chapter of the National Council of Women Societies (NCWS) has felicitated the new Soun of Ogbomosoland Oba Ghandi Afolabi Olaoye Orumogege III.

 

NCWS which is the first women society and umbrella society for all women societies in Nigeria, in a message of congratulations to the new monarch expresses joy that the struggle to fill the exalted throne of Soun ended with the enthronement of a “noble, worthy personality” whom it observes is capable of taking Ogbomoso to a new level of development.

The congratulatory message signed by its president and secretary Mrs. Kikelomo Olufunmilayo Oyelade (a former chairperson Teaching Service Commission TESCOM, Oyo state), and Chief Mrs. Isinmiola Yemisi Olowoyo respectively also rejoices with the people of Ogbomoso for the successful installation of the new monarch expressing assurance his reign “will be peaceful, unite Ogbomoso zone, and unlock gates of developments.”

The association adds, “We are not only enthused by the impressive profile of Oba Olaoye III, which shows his array of high powered connections, inspiring accomplishments and visionary drive but more by his God-fearing disposition, amiability and gentlemanly mien.

“We passionately urge Kabiyesi to transform these sterling qualities into provoking growth, development and glory of the city. This is because if Ogbomoso witnesses development Oyo state and Nigeria as a whole will feel the positive impact.”

 

The society therefore pledges the support of women in the state submitting, “As women we pledge our support, loyalty and allegiance.

 

“We also rejoice with the new Ayaba, we have gotten another loving mother. We are assured that when Her Majesty takes her seat she will embrace us with open arms.”

 

It now pledges support, “We will support both Kabiyesi and the Queen with prayers and we pray Ogbomoso, Oyo state and Nigeria will have a glorious dawn.”
