Ogbomoso Women’s League sends warm congratulations to new Soun

Congratulatory messages have continued to pour in for new Soun of Ogbomosoland Oba Ghandi Afolabi Olaoye as the Ogbomoso Women’s League also sent congratulatory wishes.
“Please accept our warm congratulations on your ascension to the throne of your forefathers,” the group wrote in its message titled, “Warm congratulations,” signed by its national president Deaconess R. O. Magbagbeola and secretary Olori Oladunni Abike Adewuyi, wife of immediate past Oba Akanni Adewuyi (Alayede of Ayede). “We wish Your Majesty and Ayaba, good health, success and long life.”

The group which represents all Ogbomoso daughters and wives of Ogbomoso, further notes, “We convey our best wishes and affection and assurances of support by all women in Ogbomoso land.”
It praises the Oyo state governor, Engr Seyi Makinde, the kingmakers and all people of Ogbomoso for supporting the new Oba to ascend to the throne expressing confidence “Our hopes in the Kabiyesi will not be dashed.”
